Trophy QFs

Horsham v Southend
Kidderminster Harriers v Wealdstone
Marine v Woking
Southport v Yeovil Town
I think I've seen Ks play against 7 of those teams. Has anyone seen Marine play?

Marine fans have seen us en masse when in the south at Kingsmeadow - great guys.
Also 1000s of us spurs fans donated a virtual admission ticket to them - which helped them give them a huge windfall - their chairman keeps us all updated - and YES we ( at Spurs) could be playing in a few years...:-)
Off to Whitehawk V Chatham today - Floodlights notwithstanding

Same as you, 7 I think.
Never seen Marine in the flesh and not seen them play Ks.
Southend, Roots hall. FA cup 3rd rnd?. Eddie Akuamoah puts us one up 'early doors' after an exquisite dummy from Sammy Winston. We never had a touch for the rest of the game and still came out 1-0 winners.
What great games and days out.
What on earth has happened to our club?
No answers needed.

Great memories, S7.
My favourite from that list would be Southport. Drove up with my dad for him to watch Southport for the first time since he grew up there.

Yes, a very enjoyable day. I drove over from Belgium and probably got stuck in the same traffic jam that maybe you did, on the M6.

Marine play north of Liverpool and the nearest Kingstonian have been to them is in 1964 when we played Guinness Exports in the FAAmateur cup. Just 3 miles south of Marine in Bootle.

If it's the one I'm thinking of then I saw Chorley play there a couple of times. Three sided ground with a narrow walk around the side of the pitch and a great programme shop even though no-one collects them anymore.
Hemmed in by houses and even if not central Liverpool I think you have to drive through the whole of Liverpool to get there with lots of views of the docks. Google suggests they are getting a new ground so I guess there wil be even more houses in that area if they do.
