The Supporters Club will be hosting an online meeting, Thur 26 March at 7pm on Microsoft Teams.
The Board of the football club will provide the rationale for the groundshare decision and an update on the search for a permanent home. We will be joined by first team manager Scott Harris and supporters will have the opportunity to ask both the board and the manager questions on Club and football matters.

I had nothing to do with organising the meeting. It was well attended but it was not recorded.
Yioryos confirmed what most of had guessed (that the ground share at Ashford was kinda forced upon us) and hinted at 3 x 16 seater minibuses (@ £8/head) from Kingston/Tolworth to every "home" game. He didn't say much about the new ground, which he believes will take c. 18 months to develop once planning permission is approved.
When Yioryos was reminded that he offered a Supporters Trust first refusal on his shares, he talked instead about John Bangs' shares.
There was no update on the Trust. There was no comment on Yioryos' position as Chairman. He promised to summarise his contributions via a statement on the official website.
Scott & Tom spoke about injuries and player availability. They confirmed that they hope to retain a large number of this year's squad for next season.

Without wanting to be too pedantic in response to a very useful summary of the meeting, I think it's worth taking slight issue with the idea "Ashford was kinda forced upon us".
Yiorgos was very honest about the fact it was an option to remain at RPV. He said RPV would have charged more than previously, and obviously the pitch is still a concern. So Yiorgos and the board made the decision that it was not worth the rent increase with the uncertainty over fixtures, and decided to instead take a "very good" offer at Ashford.
So let's be honest: this is a financial decision more than a practical one.
Now, the pitch at RPV has suffered this season and there's no guarantee it would perform better next season, but January/February have been an outlier. England experienced its 8th-wettest winter since records began in 1836. It is unlikely things will be as bad next season. What this season does show is that it's viable, if undesirable and presumably expensive, to use Ashford as a back-up option.
Without specifics in terms of rent - which I woudn't expect the board to divulge - we cannot completely judge whether or not this is a reasonable decision. But Ashford is nowhere near Kingston, and even with the plan to run minibuses to the ground, our gates will surely be lower. Aside from the financial implications of lower attendances, it will further threaten the status of a club already on life support.
My suspicion is that this is a bad decision, and the overall harm from playing at Ashford will be much more severe than the board suspect. Hopefully I am wrong, but that's a side-issue - my main point here is merely that Ashford for 2-3 years (at least) is a choice the board have willingly made.

Here is our average attendances going back to our last season at casuals
21/22 313
22/23 248
23/24 221
24/25 267
25/26 238
Ashford Only 183
Based on a small sample there is approx 50 less fans at Ashford so £500 a match and approx £10k less over a season.

Thanks for giving the feedback especially as nobody seems to have recorded any notes
And thanks to whoever organised it
I’m jaded about a return to the borough until I’ve seen a full 90 minutes played within the borough’s extensive boundaries by the team bearing the main town’s name. Undoubtedly it’ll be in the borough but very unlikely to be in the town given the current set of councillors wish to concrete the area with expensive unaffordable high-rises. Unless it’s as a pub league team on the Fairfield
However good news from the playing front especially if we can keep most of the squad next season as Scott has found the right group to get us motoring up the table again - thanks Scott!

Thanks for sorting this, Rex — your persistence in holding the club to account is admirable. Communication really is key. What exactly was communicated yesterday?

I second that - thanks Rex.
It sounds like the best case scenario anyone can wish for is that Ks have their own ground near Kingston by the beginning of the 28/29 season or more likely the 29/30 one.
Ouch!

I couldn't make it either but, if OptimisticK's post is to be believed, it would appear we've been promised a return to the town centre by 2028, albeit playing on a massive barge by Kingston Bridge and with an influx of new supporters who appear to be Austrians... And fans of Where's Wally.
I know where he is...
