So in the middle of a cost of living crisis our Chairman, in his infinite wisdom, decides that the best course of action to grow the Club is to increase the standard admission price by 20%, with the concession prices increasing by a whopping 33%. Throw in a move to a ground an hour from Kingston by train for good measure and you have to wonder if anyone will bother to show up next season.

It just shows how stupid and inept he is. Anderson Wainwright and Fenwick must be laughing at what a good job he's done finishing off what they started.

An additional £2 won't put people off.

Playing at 6 different grounds in the last 10 years will.
Being at the lowest level it ever has will.
Playing in front of the lowest crowds it's ever had will.
Having "home" games miles from its traditional home will.
There being no prospect of the nomadic existence ending any time soon will.

A small increase in ticket prices to keep the taxman happy and cover the cost of the buses the club is running to all home games makes complete sense. I don't see what all the fuss is about

Quite a few clubs have not yet given their prices for 26/27 but when known the prices given by Kingstonianwill not be out of line and the season tickets probably the lowest. Winchester have put their prices on their site and £13 for adults £10 concessions so maybe we may see more clubs previously on £12 moving up.

Re access to Ashford my view would be a shuttle bus between Ashfordd station and the ground rather than bus(s) from the Kingston area. The train from Kingston takes 40 mins change at Twickenham with a cost under £8 return . The bus from Kingston takes about 55mins but the cost return is £3.50. There are also trains to Ashford from Weybridge so anyone travelling from Guildford/Woking or Surbiton/Walton have that option.

I don’t know why Hatton Cross would be considered. The announcement on 18th March says that the club would
Look into assisting supporters getting to Ashford fc. Details will be announced in the off season. That statement has more than one possibility.

My view ,if assistance is being provided , then a shuttle bus between Ashford Station and Ashford fc should be considered. Whaterever is announced I assume it will be the club and not the supporters club.

Not liv8ng in Kingston for many years unaware of that route. Another viable option and maybe a bus connection to near the ground

I don’t agree with the increase but it was sadly inevitable, most clubs in this level charge £12 (gone the days when it was £8) & look at St Albans in the Isthmian premier £18 on the day of Cheshunt when we were step 3 £14.

I heard that the Isthmian league could ban ground shares on grass pitches given the more wetter winters which if true really leaves a huge headache on finding 3/4/5G pitches to play at. I understand why they would do it but the lack of Astro pitches forces clubs longer travel for home games.

I think £150 for a season ticket is excellent value and I'd have snapped your hand off if we were at any of our previous grounds.

However we now play in the middle of nowhere in Middlesex and therefore I simply won't be attending the majority of home matches.

Google Maps currently showing it as a 90min journey via three buses. I appreciate the club may be providing some kind of bus transport but it's also a 45min drive, and I wouldn't be surprised if low take-up means this option doesn't exist by the end of the season.

I'll certainly try to attend cup matches but obviously they aren't included in the season ticket.
